Parker "Pack" Dodge sails the gaff-rigged sloop DIXIE

Parker "Pack" Dodge sails the gaff-rigged sloop DIXIE with her tender in tow in Eggemoggin Reach near Brooklin, Maine. Unfortunately, [there are no photos in the collection showing the entire vessel], but the onboard photos show she had a large oval cockpit and a small trunk cabin. Her jib sheet leads through the cockpit staving to a cleat on its inboard face—somewhat unusual, but very convenient.(Maynard Bray, July 2024)
