Souvenir: Asian pouch
Souvenir: Asian pouch Long wood carved figure (used to ward off evil spirits?) is attached by a cord to a carved, wood, round receptacle. Receptacle/pouch has a round human face that acts as a closure for the pouch. Talisman is carved as a very long legged human with his arms crossed above his head. Appears it may also have been used as a hanger for the pouch. Tag that came with gift says: "pipe and pouch/ Woosung China/W. P. Spaulding"
