Morris 16' canoe
16' x 34" wood and canvas canoe built by Morris Canoe Co. of Veazie, ME in 1907. Bought by the donor's grandfather, William Y. (Billy) Peters around 1907-08. Donor says she believes the canoe is a 1908 Morris model. Reconditioned in 1985 by Jim Hanna of Iris Boat Works, Marshfield, ME). Rear seat repaired by Geoffrey Burke in 1990. See object file for more information. Dimensions are approximate. Where it is currently stored, it is difficult to measure by one person. Dark green exterior, varnished wood interior, woven seat.
