Steam Log of the USS MARCELLUS
Official engine room log of the steam collier USS MARCELLUS for the quarter ending September 30, 1910. This includes a voyage to Pensacola, a dry dock and maintenance period once there, a trip to Newport News, Virginia to pick up coal, and the wreck of the MARCELLUS in a collision in August, 1910. The log records daily operations of the engine room, including the consumption of coal and oil and descriptions of maintenance work undertaken in port.
