Ledger for Witherle & Jarvis general store, Castine, 1821-1822.  Includes several types of accounts, bulk is ledger for food goods, household goods, fabric, etc. Payments in cash and barter by work or produce. First few pages show daybook and last few pages labor listed by worker.  Inside cover account of lead in ounces.  One insert, 1827 handwritten price list for "Crocking ware" with many specific types of dishes and sterling.
