View looking southeast along Main Street (US Rt. 1) at the intersection of Steamboat Avenue, Searsport, Maine along Mill Brook stream, with large homes in the background. The Colonel Blanchard House is in the center. At the turn of the 20th century this was the site of a grist mill which was later converted into a lumber mill and produced large amounts of lumber for export.
