Steamboat VIKING
The steamboat VIKING was built as a yacht in 1891 at Ashtabula, Ohio. By 1892 she was owned by the Vinalhaven Steamboat Co. and her home port was Belfast, Maine. She ran from there to Rockland and Vinalhaven until 1896, when she was sold to a Canadian owner. She worked from Campobello Island and broke up in 1909 at nearby Deer Island, New Brunswick.
