Steamboat VERONA
VERONA was a 110 ft. steamboat built for Penobscot River passenger and freight service. She was launched in 1902 at the Barbour shipyard in Brewer, Maine, where this picture was taken. After a few years she was sold to a New York company for service in the Hudson River. Her home port was Kingston, NY. She burned in 1907 on the river near Highland Falls.
