Steamboat TREMONT

This picture shows the steamboat TREMONT as she was launched in Brewer, Maine, in 1895 at the Barbour yard. She carried passengers and freight in Penobscot Bay and River from Belfast, Maine. She was owned by Capt. Isaac Edson "Ed" Archibald of Thomaston. At the end of her service she was stripped and burried in fill near the Belfast Steamboat Wharf. TREMONT was 80.5 ft. over all.
