Steamboat TREMONT

TREMONT steamboat carried passengers and freight in the Penobscot Bay and River from Belfast, Maine. She was built in Brewer in 1895 and owned by Capt. Isaac Edson "Ed" Archibald of Thomaston. At the end of her service she was stripped and burried in fill near the Belfast Steamboat Wharf. TREMONT was 80.5 ft. over all.
