Steamboat NEWCASTLE

The steamboat NEWCASTLE is docked at Clarks Cove in South Bristol, Maine. She was built in 1902 at Bristol for the Damariscotta River Steamship Company and was the largest of their fleet of three. Her sisters were ANODYNE and BRISTOL. 1928 she was sold to a ferry service that travelled from Long Island to Oakland Beach, New York..
