Steamboat J. T. MORSE

The large steamboat J. T. MORSE is on the left. She was built in 1903 at East Boston for the Eastern Steamship Co. and named for their treasurer, James Thomas Morse. Her route from 1904 to 1931 was Rockland, Maine, to Bar Harbor, with many stops along the way. In 1933 she was sold to a New York company.
