View along the shore of the inverted hull of a particularly handsome local sailing dinghy. Judging by its appearnace, it was probably overturned to paint the hull. Sawn frames, thick planks and keel timbers make Andros sailing dinghies heavy, but with shapely hulls and lots of sail area, their speed will surprise you. This photo was taken on a shoot that Ben Mendlowitz arranged for his Calendar of Wooden Boats, and were taken at Lisbon Creek in Andros, Bahamas.
