95’ centerboard schooner HERITAGE designed by Doug and Linda Lee and built by North End Shipyard in 1983 in Rockland, Maine Launched on April 16, 1983, the schooner HERITAGE was a celebrity from the get-go, her first sail cheered on by thousands of onlookers and documented by national media.
