Photo of 36-ft. lobster boat SHEARWATER. [ref. NF 05/1976, p. 7-C] Built by Bruce Farrin, using design by octogenarian Alvin Beal of Beal's Island for Henry Tosi, a biology teacher. A semi-skeg craft measuring 36 feet loa with an 11 foot beam and drawing 42 inches the SHEARWATER will be used to fish from Marine East at South Portland,Maine.
