Several young men gathered around an engine. "A cutaway model of a Caterpillar D-330 turbocharged diesel engine has been donated to the new commercial fisheries program at the University of Rhode Island by Caterpillar Tractor Co. of Peoria, Ill. All fo the moving parts of the diesel engine actually work, except that in this instructional cutaway model they are electrically powered. The operation of the engines fuel pump is being explained to students by Capt. James A. McCauley, an assistant professor of fisheries and marine technology.
