"The United Nations Special Fund and the Food and Agriculture Organization have supported the fisheries institute in Guayaquil in the making of fish sauce, used extensively as a flavour additive. As well as this, an FAO expert was sent two years ago to instruct people in the freezing of the large catches of shrimp, and their subsequent export -- mostly to North america." [no NF ref.]
