Joined Revenue Service during Civil War. Was oiler, fireman, engineer many years. After 25 years in Revenue Serivce retired. Always expert long distance swimmer. Is seen viewing old shipyards near home. His daughter, Mrs. Mary H, Benton right. Resided in Hollywood, Cal. many years. Returned to Eastport to be with father." " Edward F.
