Photo reverse: "The ornate trailboards of the Bill of Rights were hand-carved by Jay Hanna of Rockport, Me. The Down east craftsman used the same care and talent identified with the work he has done for the Smithsonian Institute at Washington, D.C. the planning and preliminary sketches, the materials, the craftsmanship and installation cost about $3,000 according to the youthful owner, Joe M. Davis of Pawtucket, R.I. Davis, shown examining the gold leaf work of Schuyler Fairfield of Wiscassett, personally helped Bill Rice, Gamage employee, install these trailboards which are detachable."
