Two young boys loitering outside Dick Smith's Texaco gas station, Rockland, Maine. Signs over the service bay doors advertise Marfak Lubrication and Tires & Batteries. Out front is the tradional Texaco "banjo sign." Texaco is derived from the original company name of The Texas Company. Also, there is a sign advertising registered rest rooms. There are four gasoline pumps out front. Two of the pumps are for Fire Chief gasoline (regular) and two are for Sky Chief gasoline (high test). They are located on two islands with with one of each pump on each island. Period automobiles can be seen parked in the yard.
