Image shows the railroad station (and Belfast-Moosehead Railroad line terminus) in Belfast, Maine. An observation car can be seen on the track beside the canopied platform. A couple of white-capped railroad men are barely visible on the platform. In the foreground a woman is seen walking away from the station. Two 1930s vintgage vehicles, one with a sign reading "Mooring Trailer Park on the door, are parked outside. Houses and trees cover the hill in the distance. The street seen to the left of the station is now Front Street. This is one of a series of photographs staged to be used for an article in Life Magazine in 1950.
