Untitled

Image of a young man playing the piano in a sound-dampened room. Visible in image: A young man wearing a striped suit sits with his hands on the keyboard of a small piano. The instrument appears to be of the type occasionally called "portable"or "compact," and may have only four octaves. Sheet music for single voice with piano accompaniment sits on the music stand. The man and his piano are in the corner of a room, the walls of which have been draped in a dark quilted cover, presumably to dampen sound. Caption on negative sleeve/reverse of print: "007--Organ player" in pen on negative sleeve, in a hand more modern than that on original Perkins collection negative sleeves. The identity of the man in this photograph is not presently known.
