Image of a rope ferry crossing a river with a horse-drawn buggy and thee people aboard. Visible in image: Seen through trees on the riverbank, two men haul on the rope to pull the ferry across the river. A third man wearing suspenders stands back to the camera, his head unfortunately obliterated from the emulsion, and faces the buggy, which is of lightweight construction and may not have a folding cover. At least one horse appears to be hitched to the buggy.
