Untitled

Image of two women and a boy standing on a pier attached to the water-facing side of a waterfront boathouse. or similar building. Visible in image: A boy wearing knee-length pants without breeches or shoes and a white shirt stands in front of two women wearing brimmed straw hats of relatively modest dimension and white dresses. The trio are next to the front of what appears to be a boathouse with living space tucked above or a similarly configured shed (probably not a cottage, as no porch faces the water view). That side of the building has two paneled double doors and a double window centered, one story above. Only one window is visible on the adjacent side. In front of the building, on which the three are standing, is a pier that runs over the water out of the right edge of the frame, attached to boardwalks that run around the building. Cottages line the shore in the background, and the immediate surroundings are lightly wooded. A thick rope is knotted around a young oak at center-left. The exact location and date of this photograph and the identity of the three people in it are not currently known.
