Untitled

Image of the First Baptist Church on Elm Street in Bath, Maine. Visible in image: A view of the church, built 1852-53, looking across the intersection of Elm and Washington Streets in Bath. The house visible at far right still stands, as does the house of which just the front steps are visible in the lower right corner. Cataloger's Note, March 2014: Information provided by Nathan Lipfert, Senior Curator, Maine Maritime Museum, Bath, suggests that it could easily have been taken by Harry Donnell instead of James Perkins. He points out that Harry's mother went to church here and his parents were married in this church, but adds, "Lots of people took pictures of it, though, because it was the only clock tower in town."
