Image of a large group of men, women, and children, perhaps three generations' worth. Visible in image: A large family group sits for a portrait on the steps and porch of a large house or perhaps a hotel. The season is probably late spring or summer, to judge by the white dresses and straw boaters. The atmosphere seems convivial, as faces are relaxed and expressions are a little amused. The people in the photograph are predominantly older; there is one child and perhaps a handful of early adults. The porch, which (with the house) is large enough to extend outside the photograph, is furnished with wicker rocking chairs, a wicker bench, and a hammock with a rug. No other information about this photograph is presently known.
