Image of a woman sitting for a portrait. Visible in image: A middle-aged woman looks at the camera with a pleasant expression on her face. She wears a light blouse with small ruffles along the placket and the edges of the wide turn-down collar; a bow around her neck that appears to be fixed with some sort of ornamental piece (perhaps a bar brooch?); and what could either be a cardigan-style garment or a short cape, with a clasp up by the neck for closure. Nathan Lipfert, Senior Curator, Maine Maritime Museum, Bath, notes that this may be a formal portrit of Harry Donnell's sister Clara Augusta "Gussie" Donnell, although it is difficult to tell for sure. She posed for other portraits as well (accession numbers LB2009.13.399, LB2009.13.403, and LB2009.13.404).
