RANSOM B. FULLER
Image of the Eastern Steamship Company steamer RANSOM B. FULLER aground in the Kennebec River in Maine in 1912. Visible in image: The starboard quarter of RANSOM B. FULLER has caught up on the rocky shore of the Kennebec River near the Arrowsic range lights. People are disembarking in small boats aft of the paddle wheel vents, while others wait to leave forward of the wheel. The port side lifeboats are all covered and on their davits, indicating that the accident was relatively minor, that few people were on board, or that most who left were able to do so on the shore side of the steamer. The photographs was made from the deck of a smaller steamboat, either DAMARIN or VIRGINIA, that appears to be standing by for assistance.
