Popham Village from Sabino Hill--Winter

Image of Popham Village, taken from Sabino Hill. Visible in image: A number of buildings from Popham Village. Nearest is Society Hall, with its small horse shed between it and the camera position. Behind Society Hall at the end of the pier is the Perkins-Stacey store. Between Society Hall and the store is the Ephraim Marr house. The white house to the left of the store is the Ebenezer Chapel house, purchased by the U.S. government along with the rest of Hunnewell's Point in 1862. To the left of the Chapel house is the Fort Popham barracks, with the fort itself at the end of the point. Behind the Perkins-Stacey store is Haley & Marr's store, and to its immediate right is the Haley house. The large building with the cupola in front of the Haley house is the Perkins-Stacey-Spinney house. To the right of the Perkins-Stacey-Spinney house is the Riverside Hotel, with its horse barn between it and the church. Between the church and the Perkins-Stacey-Spinney house are the houses of Hiram Stevens (closest to the church) and Nathaniel Perkins.
