Group at Diamond Is.
Image of a group of young adults sitting on porch steps at Diamond Island. Visible in image: Twenty-one young men and women sit in a group on a set of porch steps. Some of the men wear tweed suits, others black suits; most of the women wear light-colored blouses with long skirts. Narrow bow ties are common on men and women alike. Hats visible include one woman's brimmed straw hat, one woman's small hat with bows, one woman's beret or other flat hat, one man's fisherman-style cap, two men's newsboy caps, and one man's insignia-less peaked cap. The young man front and center could be wearing a peaked cap pushed far back on his head, or some other unusual kind of headgear. He is also holding a bunch of bananas, with one peeled and half eaten, as well as something tied off with twine. Caption on negative sleeve/reverse of print: "3" on emulsion side of plate, top right corner, in blue ink. "4" in pencil and "3" in blue ink on sleeve, also "Group at Diamond Is." on sleeve in pencil.
