ELDORADO
Image of the Popham Beach Steamboat Company steamboat ELDORADO. Visible in image: A front view of ELDORADO grounded out at low tide while moored to the stone seawall of the Fort Popham installation in Atkins bay. Note that ELDORADO's wheelhouse windows have been raised, her searchlight covered, and a metal plate has been fitted to her bows at the waterline. This may indicate that ELDORADO had been laid up for the winter.
