ELDORADO

The two steamboats may have been laid up for the winter, as their funnels are capped and ELDORADO's boat is overturned on deck. Note the deck-high wooden posts used as fenders on ELDORADO, and also the stated home port of Portland--indicating that ELDORADO was still owned by the Casco Bay Steamboat Company at the time this photograph was taken.
