Water Street, Wales Ctr., N.Y. 39
A view looking up Water Street in Wales Center, NY. To the right of the street can be seen a river with a covered bridge spanning it. At the top of the street is the E.O.W. Offhaus Meat Market. A convertible automobile is parked in front and a boy on a bike looks down the street toward the photographer. "A covered bridge stretches across Buffalo Creek and two commercial buildings can be seen, including a Meat Market. There are a few people in the distance, one on a bicycle and one barefoot boy looking curiously at the camera. The two commercial buildings still exist today; they have been connected into one and now house. The old meat market is now house the Wales Center post office (716-652-2702).
