Kids Cabin in Winter -- Chases on Torsey, Readfield, Maine E126
This image, a snow scene, shows a simple, shingled cabin with a sleeping porch. Chase's camp on Torsey Pond, formerly the Chases Boys' Camp, established in 1898 on the shore of Torsey Pond by John A. Chase, and said to be the first boys' camp in Maine. Other of the camp's cabins remain, all now private residences.
