Handpainted photograph of Milbridge, Maine. View shows bay with peninsula jutting out with several buildings on it. An island is seen in the distance. A dock and row boat is seen in the foreground. This print was stamped on the back "Photographic Oil Painting from the studio of Rudolph Cassens, Belfast, Maine." The EIP no. is noted as 135k. The original glass negative is part of the Eastern Collection. The photo was donated to the museum in its orginal frame. The print was removed from the frame and the backing materail with Cassen's stamp was saved.
