A.D. Davis Store, Tenants Harbor 30

A.D. Davis Store, Tenants Harbor Man standing on step at next building. Sign on store reads " Boots, Shoes... Sign over door says "Dry and Fancy Goods" and partial sign reads " Mrs A...) The dry goods store founded by Albert Davis was in the building on the left; the rear part of the building was at one time a shoe shop. Davis also sold furniture and was an undertaker. This funeral business persisted in nearby Thomaston, Maine into the 1970s. None of these buildings now exist.
