Bangor House, Bangor Maine

Bangor House, Bangor Maine. One of the earliest buildings in the city, built 1833-35 at the corner of Main and Union Streets. Five presidents, many entertainers, and sports figures stayed there. It was once the scene of a murder and was added to the National Rgister in 1972. Today (2014) it is a senior citizens housing complex with its own shops and a market.
