Image of Cundy's Lobster House Restaurant (later Kob's Searsport Lobster Pound) in Searsport, Maine. Cars from the 50's and 60's eras are parked outside. Roadside eateries such as this one sprung up all along Route 1 and other scenic routes during the mid-20th century as motor tourists flocked up the coast to midcoast Maine and Acadia.
