Image of The Fellsmoor, a roadside resturant offering take-out and dining room service on Route 1 in Yarmouth. A picturesque neon lobster sign on the roof advertises "Seafood". The 1953 State Publicity Bureau's publication "Motoring Thru Maine" includes and advertisement for The Fellsmoor saying: "Good Maine Food/ Reasonable Prices/ Courteous Service". The large parking lot fronting the establishment and off the highway became a ubiquitous sight along busy motorist routes at mid-century, hailing the development of the mini-mall type of commercial strip seen later in the century.
