This image shows the Bangor & Aroostook's depot at Brownsville Junction. The passenger station is an unusual two-story structure with two chimneys and a broad lower roof to protect passengers from the weather while waiting on the platform. The stations's size and amenities befit its significance as a transfer point for tourists headed for Moosehead Lake or Millinocket and beyond. Directly across the two sets of tracks, connected by a walkway crossing, is another building.
