Depot, Jay Bridge ME. 77.
This image shows the Maine Central Depot known as Jay Bridge (part of Jay, Maine.) A string of freight cars sit on a siding beside the small, simple passenger station. There is a tall signal and a marker with the letter "W". The tracks cross a wagon road in the foreground. *On the Androscoggin River in this town (Jay) are three excellent water powers–the aggregate fall being about 36 feet. That near Jay Bridge is improved by a good dam, on which is a saw-mill. The Farmington Railroad passes through the town, having a station at Jay Bridge and at North Jay. *According to the 1886 Gazetteer of Maine
