A single set of tracks on the Bangor & Aroostook line curves by the Monson Junction station and a barn in a rural setting. A string of freight cars is visible in the background. The Monson Narrow Gauge train was used to haul slate from the Monson quarries to the Monson Junction Station in Abbot. They then transferred the slate and slate products to the Bangor and Aroostook line to be shipped all over the United States.
