Color transparency of High Street in downtown Belfast ME in the mid 1950s, when diagonal parking was the norm. In the foreground on the right is the Colonial Inn, where a fire that started in its coffee shop destroyed the building in September 1958; it was the deadliest fire in Belfast history.
