View of street leading to Veteran's Memorial Bridge. Houses and tree lined street in near ground, east side of Belfast beyond the bridge in distance. Winter trees are bare giving good view of houses. Same view as 118229. In this view Pierce Street leads to the Veteran's Memorial Bridge which was dedicated in 1921 dating the photo to a later date. The remnants of the Lower Bridge (pylons) can be seen just upstream (to the left) from the new bridge. Also to the left, you can see one of the Coe-Mortimer Fertilizer Company buildings (long building). At the right of the approach to the bridge is the sardine cannery (Lubec Canning).
