Priests' Bungalow & Rest-a-While, Gabriels, N.Y. 429.
View of the Sanatorium proper in Gabriels, N.Y. from a diagonal view. The building itself is fairly large and resembles a luxury hotel. Sanatoriums were used as a means of helping people with teberculosis overcome their illness. It was believed that by breathing clean air and drinking pure water was what would cure people of their illness. Also pictured in the foreground is the Priests' Bungalow.
