"St. Regis St., Bloomingdale, N.Y. 13a." Crossroads, Church, Road, Telepone Poles, Residential Built in 1882, the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer was a mission offshoot of St. John's in the Wilderness in Paul Smiths, New York. The architect was Richard Mitchell Upjohn, who designed the The Connecticut State Capitol in Hartford. "The road at left is St. Regis Avenue; at right is State Street. After it was deconsecrated, the church building was operated as The Sign of the Fish, a summer antique shop.
