Red Oak Tree at Mera Dil, Grand Isle, Vermont Mera Dil was on the West Shore of Grand Isle. This photo is looking north. The red oak (or its descendants) is still there. Mera Dil was also called Red Oaks and took in summer guests. I think in the far right distance can be seen the apple trees in the orchard. One apple tree survives to this day.
