"Old Hall House Built in 1652, Damariscotta, Me. 5x" This is known locally as the "Chapman Hall House" it has been restored to its former glory and is open to the public during the summer months....the last owner before it was acquired for restoration was a local gentleman whose name was Herman Dodge, the last of an old local family line in town...he had a taste for "the bottle" and I believe it was sold for a paltry sum at the time.....[Malcolm Ray - 2018]
