Young, Wing cottages and water tower / lookout at Isle of Springs, Maine. View about 1915 from a boardwalk looking southwest to Albert Young Cottage (1894), the water tower / lookout, and Judge George C. Wing Cottage (1888) in background. Wing was from Auburn, Maine and a founder of the Isle of Springs Association. Young was a founding member of the association and was manager of the island's NeKrangan Hotel and manager of the Elm House hotel in Auburn, Maine. The water tower / lookout was eventually taken down after being struck several times by lightning.
