Pictured is a six-masted schooner built to haul coal, docked at a Mack Point pier. Snow suggests the winter or early spring season; it is high tide. Cranes and coal pockets can been seen mounted on tracks on the pier at the Penobscot Coal and Wharf Company at Mack Point in Searsport, Maine. Cranes offload coal and dump it in to the pockets, which then are rolled back into the yard for shipping by rail to market. [See also LB2007.1.111122; 23; 36; 43; LB2007.1.110140;
